Welcome to Syvox

Installation Guide

Getting Syvox running on your Windows PC is straightforward. Follow these steps:

  1. Download the latest .exe installer from the Download section above.
  2. Locate the downloaded file in your Downloads folder and double-click to run it.
  3. If Windows SmartScreen appears, click "More Info" → "Run Anyway". Syvox is safe and unsigned for cost reasons.
  4. Follow the on-screen Syvox Setup Wizard. Accept defaults or choose a custom install path.
  5. Once complete, Syvox will launch automatically. A desktop shortcut is created for future use.
Syvox installs to: C:\Users\[YourName]\AppData\Local\Syvox\
Data directory: C:\Users\[YourName]\AppData\Roaming\Syvox\
Uninstaller: Add/Remove Programs → Syvox

Managing Clients

The Client Manager is the foundation of Syvox. Every invoice and quotation links back to a client record.

  1. Navigate to the Clients tab from the left sidebar.
  2. Click Add New Client and fill in: Name, Email, Phone, GSTIN, and Address.
  3. Save the record. The client is now available when creating invoices.
  4. Click any client to view their full invoice history, total revenue, and payment status.
  • Import clients via CSV — File → Import Clients
  • Use the search bar to instantly find any client
  • Archived clients are soft-deleted and recoverable

Creating Invoices

Syvox generates professional invoices in seconds with live previews and automatic calculations.

  1. Click + New Invoice from the Invoices tab or the top action bar.
  2. Select a client from the dropdown. Their details auto-populate.
  3. Add line items: Description, Quantity, Unit Price. Tax is calculated automatically based on your Settings.
  4. Review the live PDF preview in the right panel. Adjust as needed.
  5. Click Export PDF to generate and save, or Share to send via Email or Discord.

Is Syvox free to use?
Yes! Syvox is completely free. There are no subscriptions, no premium tiers, and no hidden costs. Download and use it indefinitely.
Where is my data stored?
All data is stored locally in a secure SQLite database on your computer at %AppData%\Syvox\. Nothing is ever uploaded anywhere.
Can I import existing client data?
Yes. Syvox supports CSV imports for clients and invoice history. Go to File → Import to get started.
Is it safe to run the installer?
Absolutely. Windows SmartScreen may show a warning because the app is not code-signed (signing certificates are expensive). Click "More Info" → "Run Anyway" to proceed safely.
